Great experience. Very comparable to other shops and offered me a military/veteran discount when I asked. Got some speakers installed on my 2019 Highlander. The person at the front is very helpful and gave me multiple estimates on options I was considering.
These guys are very reasonably priced and their work is great. They installed a gps/kill switch in my lamborghini and they were in and out within a few hours. Will go back for all my electronics.

I recently moved to Fresno from Chicago and finally found a solid all-around car audio shop here in the Valley.
California Custom Stereo is the by far the best for all-around car technology, customer service and quality control for car audio systems. Paul, Gil and Robert showed me the ropes in the car audio game. Paul is greatly knowledgeable in the field of car audio electronics. Gil managed and made sure I got the sound system I was looking for the right price.
Recently, I bought a 2018 Honda Accord and had it fully-packaged with everything JL Audio.
Paul recommended I go with C5 set (front and back) from JL (tweeters and mid-range) two JL W6 12's w/ a JL 1200.1amp + 600x6 amp for the cabin speakers + JL Fix for the head unit. The whole set-up is filled crystal highs, outstanding mid-range w/ slamming powerful bass. This system is full-on sensory experience like none other. They really worked with my budget.
I've been back multi-times for different areas of car needs and wants from the overall sound system, sound dampening to fog lights and alarms. CCS can do anything top-notch car related.

Update:
My appointment was at 9:00 AM and I showed up at 10:30 am, EXTREMELY LATE. When I asked him how long it would take, they said. “I do not know”. I figured it would take 2-3 maybe 4 hours to complete an hour job and decided to stay in Fresno (since home was an hour away and I had no ride).
It was my fault to assume that they would finish the job within a reasonable amount of time. If they would have told me, “we won't get to your car until the end of the day” or “please make an appointment for another day”, then I could have prepared myself. In this case, ended up stuck in Fresno for 7 hours.
I still stand by my statement of lack of communication. In this situation, from both of us. I should have told them I was from out of town and had to way back home and they should have clarified my options and the situation. By the time they were done, I had a clear, calm head and I was happy with my purchase. From a scale of 1 to 5, five being best, I give the product a 5 star and customer service a 1.
The cashier guy seemed friendlier and the price seems reasonable, so I will try again for my truck.
